Where is the analytics??

If the Orioles are now committed to analytics I don't understand:

How Mycal Givens can throw three consecutive changeups to a guy who has zero HR's for the season, giving up a game blowing HR.

How with men on first and second, early in the game against a team that average 6 runs a game against the average ML pitching you bunt. The bunt is successful which brings a .170 hitter to the plate who promptly strikes out. What analytics guy says the percentage in that situation is to bunt?

How seemingly every game the O's defensive shifts are badly beat in the most critical moments.

Definitely better in the second half, which is what you want to see with a young team

Santander has developed into a very nice player

A full year of him and CD off the roster should be +5 wins next year

I may have done this wrong, but we had only one 5-5 stretch last year using this slicing.  The last above .500, sequential, 10 game stretch was from 8/28-9/7/17 when we went 6-4.

That's pretty pathetic.

I know they are essentially randomly chosen intervals and we actually have gone 6-4 at some point this year.

But it would nice to see something better than 5-5 at least ONCE.   And this is our last chance, not counting going 2-0 in Boston on Sept 28-29.
