You're gonna need a pinch cut-and-paster. You must be exhausted.

I'd help, but I have an On-Key Percentage (OKP) of about .150 when dealing with BBCode tags. One little stray ] and you're embarrassed for the rest of the night at your incompetence.

Our Pat has an OKP of 1.000. His Pastes Above Replacement (PAR) is infinity.

Chris may be the first player to have higher HR total then BA after this season is all said and done. That would be something!

In 1982, Dave Kingman lead the league in home runs for the Mets with a .204 batting average.

It was:

A) The lowest batting average ever for a home run champion.

PLUS

B) 14 points lower than that year's Cy Young Award winner (Steve Carlton, who batted .218 that year.) It was the only time to date that a home run champion had a lower batting average than the Cy Young Award winner.

AND

C) The lowest batting average ever for a 1st baseman (also Chris Davis' position) that had enough plate appearances to qualify for a batting title.
