I don't think Gausman cares about his win-loss record very much. If he gets a no decision and the Orioles win, there's nothing to be sour about. A team win is a moral victory for the starter.

Which means we now need to score 3 runs. Gd it!!!

Agreed. If the team wins it's just like you won the game as a starter. Simply because winning makes everything feel better.

Because of a blown third strike call and an error on the third baseman? Buck should have anticipated that? It's not like Gausman really blew it.

I think Gausman was at only 87 pitches and everybody said he was lights out today so I guess Buck went with him.

Bad defense + bad pitching = Loss.. most of the time.

Yesterday we had terrible pitching and some less than spectacular defense, but we beat them over the head with a grand slam.

We'll need something like that today or we're cooked.

Apparently Miller doesn't like coming into games with men on base.

Few relievers do.

I am generally in favor of pulling the starter if I don't expect him to finish the inning and let the reliever come into a clean situation.
