Maybe Adam performs differently in games that he watches and the numbers can't be trusted. I think OF#5 used that defense once.

Thing is with baseball where a 1/3 success rate is awesome, it's really easy to fall into a confirmation bias trap. If you believe a player stinks or is non-clutch, they are bound to fail 2/3 of the time, making it easy to further entrench oneself in an opinion that may be absurd given the facts. Funny game. Great game, but funny.

This is the second time this year I've seen Adam get a hit with RISP. I've seen him hit all of his solo shots during the homestand, and a few extra-base hits. But until this point I hadn't seen him do much in RBI situations.

You gotta watch more games man. He got hits with runners in scoring position on April 7th, 10th, 12th and 13th.
