AJ didn't look thrilled about EdRod's fist pumps.

In 2009, Aubrey Huff was not too thrilled with Joba Chamberlain's constant fist pumps. So after he hit a 3-run home run off of him in the bottom of the 1st inning, Huff pumped his fist.

Unfortunately, we left ourselves in a position to get kicked in our asses, and that is exactly what happened. We had numerous opportunities to extend our lead, and we didn't. We let the Yankees hang around, and Johnny Damon beat us with a 3-run home run in the top of the 8th inning.

The height of our ineptness in that game in terms of blowing offensive opportunities was when Adam Jones tried to steal 2nd base on a 3-2 count. The batter walked, so it didn't matter ...... until Jones slid a little too hard, his foot ever so briefly came off of the bag, and Derek Jeter alertly tagged him out.

This rule is so stupid. How can they just ask them to look at it? That is a challenge. Period. How is it any different?

Because at some point there will be a big obvious blown call late in the game and the manager won't have an appeal left.
