I'm starting to feel really embarrassed for Ryan. 0 for 30 is getting pretty bad for a positional player.

Never, ever throw Joseph a knee high fastball on the inside corner.

Serious question -- who has the better 2016, Joseph or Wieters? Wieters at his best was better, but moving forward, it could be Joseph.

[emoji122] [emoji122] [emoji122] [emoji122] great job Ubaldo...I hope we have this Ubaldo the rest of the season.

We always have this Ubaldo. He is always the same. He sometimes hangs a pitch or two or nibbles or gets his hands an inch or two two high in the back part of his delivery. Or has an umpire that will not call a pitch for him at the bottom of the zone. But when he has 94 in his pocket and can drop the split, he is just as likely as not to be unhittable. It's not like it is the first time.

Re: Caleb, I was a little worried that after he ended last season slumping that the league had him figured out but he's had a quite impressive sophomore year. He's becoming one of my favorites too. He's got one of the best approaches at the plate on the team IMO.

It's not as irrelevant considering his defensive metrics have been terrible all season though. I'm not trying to bash him. I liked the pick up. Just saying it is definitely early but he hasn't been great.

Defensive metrics only begin to have meaning with a seasons worth of numbers and even then they are sketchy.
