I understand what you're saying, but it's not a great comp, because Ubaldo's command issues come from him having awful mechanics. Jason has a decent delivery.

A good comp is Mike Wright I think. Poor command at times, probably profiles better as a power reliever.

FB, Slider guy that obviously needs to work on his change. Only threw it 7.7% of the time when he was here last year. Lefties are tuning him up pretty good. .329 BA with 26BB and only 13k's in 35.1 IP vs LH.

Starting this year is great for his development. At AAA he would have had to compete with Drake, Beato, Roe, R.Rodriguez and the lefties for bullpen innings. At least in AA he gets to develop and work on his pitches.

Gotta love the fact that he's only given up 5 HR's. K numbers are not good though. I don't know if this is a successful experiment or not. Seems like he could have been in the pen by now with the minor league shuttle.
