Ok great! Pending physical. Whoa, he signed? Ok!

So Fowler is costing the #14 pick now? Would Gallardo cost the #28 pick? Does that make a different deal more palatable? And how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

Same two players, same two picks.

How could it possibly make a difference.

At the end of the day Dan will have forfeited three first round picks.

If we are counting the picks (3) and the players that will need to be removed from the Forty (3) it may be an expensive off-season in more ways then just green backs.

I know, I just wanted to remind everyone, once again, about the loss of the draft picks.

Of course with the 27th best farm system around and a GM that likes trading for marginal mid-season upgrades I'm sure they don't need them.

Yes, but you have to admit that Parra deal gave you a good feeling when first announced, no?

O's certainly have a grownup budget this year. Who would have thought?

Dan and company seem to have learned their lesson from last year's disastrous offseason. No one can say they haven't at least tried to improve the team since last fall.
