The Yankees are no tougher than any of the Orioles' other opponents that they have faced so far this season.

The Orioles had a pretty good day overall today (excellent pitching and defense, mediocre offense), and they still beat them without much anxiety in the final 3 innings.

Just because they are wearing those uniforms and are employed by the Steinbrenner family doesn't make them reminiscent of their good teams from the past, any more than the Orioles returning to the cartoon Bird necessarily makes them have a connection to the great Orioles teams from 1966-1983.

Right now, the Yankees are just another bad team that the Orioles need to take care of business with, one game at a time.
