I would like to see Matusz traded for something. I know its a long shot, but I would love to get a non-prospect or PTBNL for Matusz. That also solves the 40 man issue.

Finally, an excellent idea! Matusz is a specialist, and it's pretty clear he won't ever be anything more. Freeing up a roster space is perfect- there are many others who deserve the spot. I know there are penny pinchers out there who will say that's a waste, but opening up a spot is better than sending someone else down who deserves to stay. At least Matusz isn't making Ubaldo money.

And yes, I'm still a bit bitter towards him for cheating. 1st round draft picks don't need to cheat. He's too old for that.

I agree, not a ton difference in their offenses. I'm betting Buck goes with the stronger defense, MM/Janish.

Yea, there really is not point in Janish playing on this baseball team. I can see no positives from him being in the game.
