Didn't Rowen have an option to leave? Do these guys?

I'll say it may Janish when Hardy returns.

You are right. No, I can't see how they would have that option. Rowen was signed as a minor league free agent by the Dodgers. That is how he did.

I think Flaherty gets sent down is a more logical choice then DFA Janish just because it keeps them both on the roster and their is little difference in the two.

Look, it's simple.

If Dan had sold the pick for a framed picture of General Sherman's horse he would be talking up a framed picture of General Sherman's horse right now.

I'd say so. I did think Rowen was a possible piece, and Charlie O'Brien son got hurt. But people thought he had some upside. Maybe these guys will fail too. Maybe the guy from the Reds also.

Please define the above. :)

Four year college guy, hurt a year of college so no high draft slot, pitched well throughout the system without fire shooting from his finger tips. Evidently finds the strike zone and gets a fair share of swing and misses.

The O's roster still has dead weight

I don't see both Kim and Alvarez on the 25 man for much longer.

Neither have any defensive or speed value. Perhaps Alvarez will hit better. I don't think Kim will every hit

Who do you think goes first?

and will it be a straight DFA or will they be traded for more A/AA prospects?

Will they be packaged with a draft pick or a real prospect to sweeten the deal?

Kim has hit in the limited time Buck has used him.

Janish goes when Hardy is ready.

Dan will be looking to add through the waiver wire.

Urrutia could go at any time.

When Gallardo is ready a pitcher will be optioned or DL'd.

Injuries will change the roster at some point.

Haha thanks. If true not a bad get.

Can't tell if that was a serious response

Yes in a small sample size he has had a great run of luck with bloops and infield choppers

He does not make solid contact with any regularity (with what I've seen)

I trust Buck in his evaluation that he didn't want him on the roster, and I think he will be off the roster no later than July 1.

You could be right. But I am really pulling for the guy.
