But you posted this after Davis had reached base in 5 of his last 9 plate appearances. It was a poor idea given the most recent returns and the fact that we know Davis can turn it on in a flash.

Yeah, Davis is starting to hit the ball better and his glove has been so good that he's still third among Orioles position players in WAR. You're going to lose just as much value defensively as you would gain offensively.
