Ortiz said that the major reason he is retiring is because the hard schedule and travel. He said Boston plays almost every Sunday night and that makes traveling really hard.

The Orioles hardly ever play Sunday night. Perhaps we could make him an offer for next year so he could play another year with less tiring schedule. Maybe give him off days after some travel days.
