Really good move. Another optionable cheap arm for the pen and actually can make a spot start. Looks like Worley is gone. I hope we can at least get something for him.

So he has a mid 5 era and you expect him to be as good as Worley? His era was higher than Worleys at the AAA level.

Good move.  I've seen him successfully spot starting for the Mets for the last few years and wondering why we kept Garcia over him.

Probably begins the year at AAA.  He has had more success as a reliever than a starter.  But most of the innings have been as a starter.   O's know him from when they selected him in the Rule 5 draft and then returned him to the Mets.

I think TJ could be non tendered and still sign a minor league deal with the O's to play at Norfolk.

This is a nice trade. The Orioles gave up no prospects, no veterans and still acquired an arm that may be useful in 2017. I also think Buck will get more out of him than Terry Collins.
