A shot of cortisone will help. Sounds like a jammed thumb, been there, done that, it hurts like hell too.

I do not know why we haven't put Santander on the 60 day DL. ST ended 35 days ago. We've DFA'd a couple of the relievers DD traded for. They could've stuck around for another month.

He is ready to play, if needed.

He had a cramp yesterday. He said that that also happened to him in when he played for the Royals' AAA-affiliate in Omaha in 2015.

Not bad for an AAA salary.  Assuming that he is not added back to the 40 man roster and again waived, he will forgo free agency until the end of the season
