Not considered a top 30 prospect by MLB.com, but the stats look good for a 23-year old in AA.

Stats don't look half bad. I must be missing something. 124IP with 132Ks and 32 walks in combined A ball last year. Now in AA with a 3.41 ERA, 91Ks to 38BBs in 92 IP. Whip is 1.26, was 0.92 in A ball.

Probably.  I was reading they might have to trade some legit prospects so they aren't lost in the rule 5.

Isn't this the 2nd time we've given the Yankees int'l slots?  Allowing them to sign more players hurts us.  Don't they see that long term.
