So long as he’s healthy and no trades or acquisitions are made, there’s no way Caleb Joseph isn’t on the OD roster.    The team will want his experience with the staff and to have him as a mentor/sounding board for the other catcher.    The only question is whether Joseph catches 95 games or 55, or somewhere in between.

As to the others, right now I’d handicap it 60% Sisco, 30% Wynns, 10% Susac, but that could change as spring training progresses.

Not many updates:

Wynns has added another hit along with some walks and strike outs. Don't know what the pitch recognition is like, since almost no games are televised...No one has tried running on him since he gunned down Mallex Smith.

Sisco has gotten back on his roll at the plate after a mini slump, knocking a few base hits, including some extra bases. Only has had 1 runner try against him lately...They were successful. 1-6 now. The bat is the main sticking point now, along with him getting the majority of the starts.

Susac has come along and gone 3-4 with a home run and a couple of walks. Had a runner steal second today and picked off a runner at 3rd to end the 9th.

No one has really stuck out yet. Sisco is leading the offense in this battle, Wynns has the defense down, and Susac is just getting some looks and taking advantage of it.

Not sure what is happening on the back fields or the simulated games, other than they had Sisco catch one and make 10 throws to second. That was the only thing reported.
