Their utility guy was better than most of our starters last season. Gurriel will also be back by April or so. They will be ok.

Also, Hamate surgery is not a good thing for a power hitter to recover from. Some do. Some don't. Some take a year.

I don't think it's going to happen either, but we can hope     In all seriousness, the only slight prayer is if a contender loses their first baseman for an extended period and has no depth at that position and we just give them Trumbo for nothing.
