He's probably in the conversation for MVO.

He may not get it, but he's in the conversation.

Wait a minute, I forgot about Mancini.

So, he's probably not in the conversation for MVO.

Still, it's at least mildly encouraging that we have a guy on the team that has 28 home runs well before the month of September, and he's not even in the conversation as the team's best player.

Fangraphs article finds Matt Adams a good comp for Núñez.

Interesting, Pujols is on the list. Although, the writer notes he can be thrown out because his SO rate is much lower than Nunez. The wOBA is rather close though, Pujols .333, Nunez .328.

A clutch 2-out, 3-RBI shot that has accounted for all of the runs by both teams in the first 6 innings of the game.

I was at the gym, so I didn't see it when it happened ........ I just saw the replay of it. Man, that was one hell of a shot, high off of the light tower and high above the 37-foot wall in left field. The ball was still going strong when it clanged off of the tower and back onto the field.

He’s definitely coming into his own at the plate and is a legit RH power bat. Even if he’s just a DH, the guy has value, and would have value to lots of contenders. Idk what the deadline looks like this year, but we’re either contending next year(long shot), or we’re looking to deal him before he hits arb 1 in the 2021 offseason.

A great waiver claim.
