Really exemplified the 2012 group, a bunch of underdog castoffs from other teams. The O's saw something in him that nobody else did and he became one of the best relievers in the game with that 87 mph rising fastball and unorthodox delivery. To this day, my kid cowers in fear when I try to do my impression of his delivery. Unfortunately, it seemed he had run out of gas during our 2014 run, and did not have a great series against KC. However, he got some absolutely tremendous outs in the 2016 wild card game. Came in with two inherited runners courtesy of Brach to get the big double play, then got us through a 1-2-3 10th. In the moment, I thought those outs would turn the game...only the O's didn't score and Buck brought in Duensing and then Ubaldo for the icing on the cake.
