"Choosing" is an odd choice of words. Could just say the manager-hiring process is ongoing.

I think people forget, or maybe just don't care, that Buck was all in on Baltimore in a time when multiple people were turning down top positions on the O's for assistant jobs elsewhere.

And we immediately loved him for it. Still do. He's an Orioles great and deservedly so.

I suggest the O's hire Dan Duquette as an outside consultant on public relations.  His point of emphasis will be how to hold a press conference covering some topic without saying anything of substance about the topic.  People hearing the press conference should think "what the hell is he talking about?"
