Won using the “opener” strategy.

Bullpen looked pretty good (even though Mike Wright was tough to watch)

Big opening weekend for Mr. Mancini.

30 years if my math is correct. It's going to be a long season, but it is always nice when they beat New York.

Vegas isn’t buying it. Toronto is -177 tonight. For the non gamblers, that means you’d have to bet $177 to win $100. We’re the third biggest underdog on the board behind who the dodgers and Yankees are playing tonight. That’s with facing a guy in Toronto that is a rookie. 

Sounds crazy but we just need Hess to give us 4 innings strong tonight. Haha. Mancini should not play in the OF this series. Hopefully Nunez starts over Davis. 

Revenge series for Dwight Smith Jr. Look out for him.

Not really and not seriously, but In an email last week on non-baseball stuff to a friend and rabid Red Sox fan, I added at the end, "Happy Opening Day. The O's will do their best to help out in NY, but don't expect any better than two out of three."

Agree, but if he does it should be:

1. In RF not LF
2. In a small RF like Yankee Stadium
3. Against an almost entirely RH lineup

So at least they maximized his chance of success.
