Swung for strike 3. Ball bounced away and he ran. Looked like he had a chance but the ball actually hit him. Dead ball.

Don't know if Ruiz should have tried to tag the runner to 3rd. Or even beat him to 3B. Slight hesitation and they couldn't turn the 5-4-3.
