It's certainly peculiar.

All I can GUESS is that Elias has very strict criteria for promoting guys to the big leagues and he is not going to do it, at least with guys he considers nuggets, until those criteria are satisfied.   Notice that in his in-game interview last night, Zac Lowther isn't just trying to get to the big leagues, he is trying to get up and stay up.   Wonder if that's been drilled ito these kids... we may hold you back longer than you think but when we promote you we are promoting for the long term, not for a look-see.

I have no idea if this is true, it's just something I've been thinking is possible, as we continually wait for guys that appear to us to be ready.

I always pay attention to when I see the first Christmas commercial on TV.   It's usually in late September, early October.   Seems to get earlier every year.

But should I count that commercial for the Oak Ridge Boys Christmas concert?   If so, August 2 is a new record.

I watched season 1 episode 1 and came to the conclusion that the idea of watching some kids playing D&D in the 80's struck a bit close to home.

Then I stopped paying for Netflix.

 I don't watch much TV overall, I am currently inching my way through The Boys on Amazon Prime.
