Felix Romero returned to Double-A Bowie after starting last night for Norfolk.

To help Norfolk fill out their pitching... it's nice to appease the affiliates everyonce and awhile, so that a repeat of Rochester doesn't happen again.

Understand the need to fill out Norfolk's pitching staff, especially since no one from Bowie will be moving up. But it would have been nice if the had traded for someone that was maybe.....ah.....good. :scratchchinhmm:

Than you would have had had to give up someone good. This move is strictly to cover the Tide for 2 more starts.

Another trade with Gillick, albeit tiny. Roberson was with Reading too. So Gillick doesn't hate Angelos so much that he won't at least cut a deal with us.

Yeah MacPhail should be fired on the spot for trading a PTBNL (which will probably be for another guy that will never make it to the majors) for a guy to take a spot on the Norfolk roster and help them out. What a dumb move.

That is what it is. Why do we get so worked up on things that happen all the time in every organization and do not matter. Even if he winds up being this years Zambrano or Santos, and I do not think he will, what does it matter. They want to let Bowie win a championship and do not want to bring up the kids. This should be filed in the no harm/No foul mode.

It would have been nice to trade for someone good..........but maybe someone good was not available at an equal price. We would have to part with someone good. There needs to be an agreement from the other team in order to make a trade.
