An incentive laden deal probably makes sense. But I don’t think they want to pay him 6-10 million if he was to perform.

I wouldn’t mind if we took 2 guys we thought could start just to try and get lucky. We could let them go through some ST as SP, then move them to the BP if it doesn’t work out.

He added the 3 guys in my top five that he didn’t have later in the day after my list came out. That would be a bit of a coincidence. We’ll see if Fuentes and Yonny Hernandez get added in his last update.

I said earlier in the offseason that a MEH starting pitcher gets $10 million. I was pretty close as that’s what Gausman is.

Cashner is probably a $6 million contract

Great job doing the list and tipping us about Brandon Bailey. It’s pretty funny that you guys put together a top 30 list and then we immediately acquire 8 pitchers.
