Ryan McKenna was released by the Giants and signed to a minor league deal with the Phillies on August 5th. 

He's gone 1-for-14 but with Hays going on the IL, you have to wonder if they will give him a chance if he even remotely starts to hit.

Stowers 5 for 52 w 23 Ks.  Making the worst of likely his best and maybe last shot at full time play.  Too many holes in his swing and too many Ks.  Maybe some team can rework his swing.
