Good year in AA in 2018, not so good in AAA in 2019 or this year.

Drafted by Elias & company in the 9th round in 2016 out of Tennessee Wesleyan.   Wow, a pitcher taken in the first 10 rounds, that's a rarity for Elias.

His entire major league career thus far has been versus the O’s and now he’s with the O’s.

Just saw that he has minor league options left. Could be insurance for Fry/Scott but could also just be a replacement for Armstrong in Norfolk.

Hartman is a left-handed starter.   Probably as good as some of the other starters that have been tried in the rotation.   He has three options.

Looking at his stuff in baseball Savant, he looks to have a similar repertoire as Alex Wells, but with less command and much less spin rate.  His four seamer looks like it has plus run but everything else looks below average. Not a left on left guy since his slider is below average so he's either an innings eating 5th starter type or long guy.
