Sports Guy
…who is the guy you feel is the most likely to never live up to his current ranking? Im going with Stowers. Its easy to say Kjerstad at the moment but the team took him at 2 for a reason, so I’m not willing to say this about him until I see him play. waroriole
Mayo. He’s #3, and hasn’t played more than a couple of months. Could also say Hall, based on how you view his elbow.
Aristotelian
Hall has tremendous upside but also tremendous downside risk. Pitchers are inherently risky, plus he's had some injuries as well as command issues. Multiple ways for his career to go south as much as I am rooting for him to succeed.
wildcard
Why would I want to bet against any of them? Or even think that way.

It is mostly the injury risk that worries me with Hall. My biggest goal for him in 2022 is just get through the year healthy. His command issues could put him in the bullpen, but I truly believe that if that’s where he winds up, he’ll be a Hader-level reliever so long as he’s healthy. Nothing wrong with that, though I’m hoping he’ll be a TOR starter.
interloper
It's hard to not go Hall here at #5. But I kind of want to go Gunnar at #6. That said, there doesn't seem like an obvious choice to me, which is good. I don't really buy Lowther, but if he settles into a 5th starter or long man role, that feels about right for #15. HowAboutThat
Although I agree with wildcard that it’s kind of a macabre question, I think the most obvious is Kjersted. One suggestion was Stowers, but I think it’s a reasonable chance he actually makes the team out of spring training, And does well.
joelala
I’ll go Hall or Rodriguez simply because they’re pitchers.
jabba72
I dont really feel we need to attack our prospects, all of them have a weakness or deficiencies that they need to work on. I was going to go with Hall but he has probably the highest ceiling out of all of them.

I’m sure nobody thinks they’re all gonna be major leaguers with successful careers.

No a few or more wont, but why point it out and state the obvious. The top 9 are all in that phase when everything is pointing up. We'll all see soon enough who will make it or not.

I don’t see why we can’t talk about which ones we have the most concern about, just as we can talk about which of the lower rated guys we think are most likely to make a big jump.
