You know what, that pitch was probably out of the zone low, and given that it's Mountcastle, I'm going to give him a pass for letting that one go for strike 3.

I like that we are driving up that pitch count. Some really good AB's, though no hits.

Close 3-2 pitches like that, I don't think batters should try and sell it walking off.    I feel like its a little violation of the umpire's agency if he's still in the split second of deciding.

Yeah, I think the past couple innings have helped drive it up some.  I still think he'll get through 6+ at this rate.  I hope we can keep it close because even if Manoah's got his pitch count elevated I think it'll be hard to score anything.

Well, I don’t know about the umpire’s “agency”, but it was too close to take. Definitely, don’t be showing up the umpire by trying to coax him into giving you a walk.

Kremer is on thin ice. He hasn’t pitched bad, but he’s a hit or two away from being horrible.

Monoah usually only goes about 95 pitches so doubt he can go more then 2 innings more if that.  He has only gone 100+ 3 times on the year so he has about 30 pitches left.
