No reason.  Nothing to catch up on.  The Orioles and Marlins remain good trade partners, but nothing appears close.

No.  I suppose if your goal is to make a lot of trades, it would be a good idea to always offer more than any other team and always meet or exceed the asking price.  If the goal is to win, however, that idea doesn't seem like the way to go.
