There are always ways to get things done.  But when you have an ownership group that doesn’t care about winning unless you can do it for 20 cents on the dollar, none of those ways matter.

This isn't true in the offseason. Trade deadline is when we can take advantage of these opportunities.

And if you think the deadline is too late... if they are out of playoff contention in July, no realistic offseason moves would have made the team a contender

I can understand how being creative is above your level of understanding.

And btw, part of being creative would also be to trade a guy like Mullins for what you need and find a way to replace him in other ways.  

Lots of avenues they could take to become a better all around team and they choose not to. Not being willing to spend money intelligently is a real problem.

I said we need other things more than him…doesn’t mean we don’t need him. Hopefully you can understand the difference between needing someone but needing something else more.
