I’m just as concerned about Bautista and Hall only being candidates for opening day. Hope Tate isn’t a TJ issue.

I’m not concerned about Hall for OD. Just get him healthy. Bautista has to be a concern.

Definitely helps him. Helps Krehbiel and Gillaspie as well.

Already starting off with health issues, something I have discussed a lot this offseason.

On top of that, your bullpen is getting attacked at the back end already, which is maybe the biggest part of the team with the way it’s constructed.

All of this is bad news.

Hall being slow to get going in spring sucks too. He needs to pitch as much as possible this season. Let’s just hope he can start the year on time.

Sure. Depth is better than before. Can’t replace a Bautista though. 
 

I think it also increases odds if healthy of Hall being in bullpen earlier in season.

Has to increase odds and a relief pitcher addition even if it’s a MiL deal.

Sure but Krehbiel and Gillespie can be sent to AAA.    Politi has to make the team or be sent back to Boston.
