2023 Miami Marlins

Break up the Marlins!   They’re 18-6 their last 24 games, and 42-31 overall. And Luis Arraez went 5 for 5 yesterday to get his BA back to .400.  Pretty amazing when there’s no other player above .325 in MLB.

Despite Arraez’s feats, the Marlins are 12th in runs scored, 11th in OPS in the NL.   While they are 5th in ERA, they’ve been outscored by their opponents 313-300.   They’re 7 wins above their Pythagorean record.

The season is developing nicely as far as MIA contending but still having infield personnel where Orioles both old and young could be helpful to them.
