That is already tied for 27th all time in the 154 years that they have been keeping track, and there will be certainly many more.

   54 -- 1988

   53 -- 1941 and 1943

   52 -- 2021

   51 -- 1991 and 1995

   50 - 1966

   49 -- 1930 and 1983

   48 -- 1970, 2002, 2016, and 2022

   47 -- 1953

   46 -- 1980 and 2020

   45 -- 1977, 2007, and 2012

We'll probably already have cracked the top 20 within a week or not much more.

By the end of August I'd be surprised if we weren't in the top 10.   Then our final standing will depend on how many random days it pops back over 90 in Sept and early October, there's always a few.

It's worth noting that 1966, 1970, and 1983 are all in the top 12.   So perhaps hot summers are a good omen.

For the record, now that I’m retired, I cut my own grass.  When I was working in a job where I billed by the hour, it made a lot more sense to spend an extra hour working and paying someone else to mow the lawn.
