For a 1B? That's like giving them a younger Lewin Diaz. Connor Norby is outhitting this guy.

I guess he's rated higher than I thought. But his numbers at AAA are not that great for a 1B of this prospect ranking. He's not a bad piece overall, but for a SP with that many years of control, I want more.

Manzardo has a .723 OPS at AAA and Kjerstad’s is 1.023. 1B is less valuable that any other. My guess is Kjerstad jumps way past him in the next top 100. If Manzardo has a .723 OPS at the majors at 1B his career will be short.

I think there will be a move or two, but nothing overwhelming.   I don't think Angelos wants to add $1 to the payroll.

He's a good prospect. He doesn't have your typical 1B power, he's more a 15-20 HR guy, but has great bat to ball skills. Not sure I'd have him top 40, maybe more in the 75-100 range based on position, but he's a good get.

The Orioles, another club with an outstanding farm system, could be a "wild card" in the Verlander race, MLB.com's Mark Feinsand said Monday on "Chatting Practice". Per Feinsand, Baltimore is an unlikely destination for Verlander, but the club can't entirely be ruled out, either.

I'm not sure Manzardo is a physically finished product and he is historically an extremely strong OBP guy. I think he's gonna be darn good.
