Sure we have a solid team that should be hopefully competitive for the next few years but nothing is guaranteed in the coming years. Should we just hang our hat on being in first place and having the best farm system? Whoopee do. 

I'd pretty sure wanting to win is on everyone's wish list.  Saying it's expected or it has to happen is out of our hands.  Trade deadline is over, so other than injury replacements (e.g. Means) or call-ups (Hall, Cowser, Ortiz) we're all here for the ride.  I hope they make it to the top.  Expecting it just seems like a way to add (more) stress to what is also a fun ride.
