Wednesday 1:05 pm; Kyle (13-7, 4.89, ERA+=85) vs. Dylan Cease (5-7, 4.81, ERA+=92)

 

On paper these look like rather even pitching matchups. Obviously the W/L numbers notwithstanding. 

After watching the Colorado series I am hesitant to make a prediction. The last game should be entertaining.

I expect two of three. Sweep would be better. I would accept any outcome with sufficient time to work through the stages of grief.

Tampa isn’t losing anymore. And they were able to successfully complete comebacks vs the Rockies

Oh, didn't know Tampa was going to run the table for the rest of the season.  

Also didn't know that the Rockies were supposed to blow 6 straight late inning leads.  I don't even think the 2018 Orioles had done that.

At least they get to play against mostly big boy teams for the next 19 games. And the one cupcake series they have is on the road in Cleveland.

I don't think the 2018 team ever had leads in six straight games.

I believe Chris Getz just has an interim tag, and a GM search is coming.

Maybe Sig Mejdal is just the man to get Dylan Cease into an Oriole uniform.

The guys Reinsdorf finally let go of - I get the overall impression they held their guys as long as Duquette/Buck, and they still didn't do much July 31.

Cease, Eloy and Robert - I wouldn't be shocked if its just a matter of time before they are moved.
