The dumbest thing the Astros did was remove Tal's hill from CF. That was THE feature that made MMP unique. They remove it in favor of a party deck. And now having issues w the batters eye in CF. Plus I've never seen a park with more billboards and advertisements.

It became a point of contention against LHP when the A's and the Yankees smoked them at home. They think it's the batter's eye not allowing them to see the ball. We'll see tonight. Valdez is 4-7 at home with a 2.98 ERA and 8-3 on the road with a 3.42. They are scoring a lot less at home this season than on the road. Hopefully, it's a nothing burger, and Means has a good game without them blaming it on the batter's eye.

With Flaherty getting knocked out by the third inning it's more like a 5 1/2 man rotation.

Depends on if we get vintage Verlander. Only 5 teams have a higher OPS+ against him in his career.

I wouldn’t put anything past the cheaters… I mean Astros. Who knows what they have planned to gain a competitive advantage? The new batters eye could be just an innocent/honest adjustment OR … You never know with them.

Well according the the players they were hurting themselves mostly, so whatever they were attempting to do previously backfired in a big way.
