That’s where adding a RH OF bat and Mayo can really help.

Things are about how they would have been if Kjerstad would have hit better in spring training.

He could have been in the lineup if McCann wasn’t starting. He will probably lose AB’s though unless he starts producing (assuming Kjerstad’s defense isn’t horrendous and Mullins continues hitting better).

I think it's this, plus-- Mullins hitting a lot better lately opens the door for Kjerstad to take some of those Cowser ABs without compromising the defense.

The Orioles simply do not have time for a guy to OPS .580 for 60 games. They only really had time for it because Mullins was even worse and Cowser was still hitting the ball hard. 

But, yeah. Either you hit or you hit the bench. There's a pennant race on.

They are protecting Cowser from Bibee. His best pitches are offspeed and breaking balls, his fastball is bad and the other two are really good. Cowser doesn't need another 3 strikeout game.

Excited for Kjerstad and would like to see Mayo tomorrow. Feels like our outfield is over crowded without another move.
