Orioles: chakra champs?

After the Orioles' opening day win, Anthony Santander was asked about his goals for the coming season and he answered first, "Stay healthy..." 

It's one good reason to celebrate the Birds' success, in this one-game sample (in contrast, to, say, Royce Lewis). It's like daily life for the rest of us, always beginning with how we feel. I'm reminded of the chakra system, or Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

From good health other needs come into play, until the whole being is expressed. If we translate that as "the complete ballplayer," we might feed into Mr. Sigbot the following qualities:

1. good health, durability, longevity
2. in shape, works hard, good diet
3. drive, determination, leadership
4. clubhouse chemistry, media savvy
5. grace, creativity, charisma
6. cerebral, analytic, humble
7. calm, philosophic, resilient

It seems the Oriole players check a lot of these boxes, some key ingredients in their success, along with the more quantifiable "5 tools" and detailed metrics. Bottom line, I agree with Anthony that it all starts with staying healthy.
