Gosh, how on earth can the Orioles, a team that took 2 out of 3 from the Phillies a month ago, ever going to compete with the Phillies, a team that is a mere 2.5 games better than the Orioles at the moment? It boggles the mind.

Agree on the timing.  Maybe it's a bluff of motive to signal competitors to raise bids or call?  Odd if not legit.

If Elias trades for a RP, that means he either has to DFA Irvin or option Akin. Has Elias ever DFA’d a player we still owe a 1+ million to, other than Tony Kemp?

The problem with Andujar is he is an OF in name only.  

If we want a RHH DH we will just bring up Mayo.
