Povich makes sense. He wont pitch again till after the AS break.

Coulombe to the 60 day IL is also an option.

Elias does not trade for relievers.  He just picks them up off the waiver wire or buy them for cash or signs them as FAs after being released..    Smith and Nottoli

He traded a player to Oakland to get Fujinami.

Easton Lucas.   Not really a big trade so far.

He also traded for Cano who has a throw in on the Povich deal.

I am sure you got point I was making.    We talk about trading for proven relievers.  Elias seems to find cheap ways to acquire them.

13 million for Kimbrel isn't exactly cheap. I don't think we really know what Elias is going to do now that the timer is ticking on all of these guys on the team, they need to win and it's harder to do hoarding guys in AAA until they are 27 and dumpster diving in areas of dire need.

Had to add Nittoli to 40 man. Danny was always a possibility to create space by going on the 60 day IL.

I had stopped watching by the time he pitched. Two shutout innings with a Soto double. Any eye test reports?
