He did throw one strike to Mayo, and somehow he didn't swing at that one.

What a flipping disaster tonight has been.  Bringing in Soto was dumb, pulling Holliday was questionable, even if it worked in a walk, letting Urias hit and then pulling Cowser are all debatable moves and arguable didn't work.  And we completely squandered bases loaded and no outs and only got one run because the pitcher couldn't find the strike zone.  This loss is squarely on Hyde.

Genesis threw 5 actual strikes. Yet the O’s are up there flailing. That was a pitiful approach.

This is really as poorly managed game for a good team in a pennant race.    Someone needs to do a welfare check on Hyde.  OMG.

Just horrible decisions. LHP who lefties hit well and we yank 2 of our best hitter. One of which is on a 17 game hitting streak and we yanked him for a kid who doesn’t have an MLB hit. This team could be better with a different manager. Time to move on
