This team can’t be a serious threat to do anything in the playoffs. They may make it by default but will be out the 1st round. homers or nothing. And it’s only going to get more difficult to hit homers in October here or in New York or Cleveland when it’s 45 degrees.

It was all the orange Kool aid drinkers saying it was a turning point.  Exhausting to listen to when you knew it wasn't the case.

Before the grand slam, O's rallied to fill the bases with no outs when things had looked pretty hopeless.

Except for the big inning last night, this team has not shown in recent months that it can explode for multiple runs in an inning...with some exceptions..

That’s what they were alluding to in the post game quotes. This is who we are as a team, that was a big exhale from our dugout, etc. Seemed like it was a weight off their chests (as it should’ve been). The offense has proceeded to follow that up with a goose egg, which isn’t surprising at all.

Suarez could arguably be saving the Orioles season but the putrid offense once again doesn't show up.  Will likely be another loss on a great Suarez outing.  These guys are just awful, it's really gotten tiresome.

That could’ve changed the whole game. That’s what a lack of hitting with RISP obviously does. It keeps piling up the zeroes and then pressure keeps building.

Of course he gets a hit there but not with RISP his first 2 AB’s. Just the way it’s been going.
