Hyde had all the time in the world to warm up a reliever given it was an injury.  Could have gone ot someone else and then bring in Akin fresh the next inning given his struggles with coming in with men on,

This has nothing to do with the pitching. The offense is absolutely terrible to the point where 3 runs in 6 innings against the worst pitching team in the league is good.

I would like Elias to install a shock collar on Hyde. Every time he sees runners on and waddles over to the bullpen phone to call in Akin, he should be shocked post haste.

He hadn't been scored on in five appearances. 10 strikeouts in 6 innings. His WHIP is under 1.
