Wow, pretty cool. Looks like LaRussa is on track to run out of pitchers first. He's on reliever #7, that's it right? EDIT: Double checked and yeah, I think Franklin is the last guy in his pen. And he threw an inning yesterday.

A no-hitter with six walks, a wild pitch strike out that ended up on the stands, and a 17 inning scoreless game (so far).

Quite an interesting day for sports.

And the Caps just broke a 12 year streak of losing home OT games.

The longest scoreless game ever was 24 innings!

Here's a question. At what point is it more advantageous for your team to basically forfeit this game? Is there ever a time where you just walk away and almost let the other guys win and not blow out arms?

The Cards are kind of doing that by pitching Lopez instead of keeping Franklin out there or maybe putting in a starter.
