5/25: A's at O's

The bad news: Jones promptly got picked off first base. Trembley came out to argue the call, but to no avail.

Ah, I assumed as much from the "on-field delay" on Gameday. Better that than an injury.

1. Just realized that there was a game on. (I normally count down the hours until gametime).

2. I just realized that I have gotten to the point where I don't even check the score when I turn it on because I just assume we are losing and probably have scored no runs if it is early in the game.

Is it just me, or does it look like the Athletics are sending the same guy to the plate for every at bat? Everyone has the same body type. They have no fat second baseman, no midget shortstop, etc.
