Britton is giving up a ton of fly balls, what is not working for so many elevated balls?

My guess is the Sinker. If his sinker is on the ball's rotation will make it hit off the lower part of the bat. Thus causing a ground ball.

My only issue with Scott tonight, is that horrible play that allowed Laporta to go to third, however with Pie out there I doubt he tries. Still if Scott plays the ball half way decent he gets Laporta at third and the inning most likely ends without a run scoring.

I actually am impressed with Britton tonight. He had a pretty tough luck third inning. Didnt make a play on a great bunt. Couple of seeing eye basehits. But the fact he didnt crumple like a little girl is great. I think this kid is a keeper for real.

Also I am loving Wieters more and more. So what he isnt Mauer with power. He is a great catcher from what I can see. Maybe the bat comes around or maybe not. The kid still has quite a lot of value.
