I don't understand why you'd trade anything for a backup catcher, let alone someone like Henry who could potentially have value, especially when you've got Matt Wieters. If it was someone who there was just no room for, or a Pelzer/Gleason type who pretty much is what he is, I'd be okay, but Henry alone is too much IMO.

It's a good backup and you need some insurance in case Wieters gets injured and misses some time.

I'm glad to have a seemingly decent backup catcher. Wieters needs more days off, or at least at DH and hopefullt this will influence Buck to do so.

Yes. I wouldn't be a fan of trading a backup catcher (say, Jake Fox) for a mediocre relief pitcher either.

Not sure if TT will turn into anything more than a backup, but he will get more reps with expanded AL/NL games. I think it makes sense myself. Besides, there could be more involved than what's being reported.

Straight-up awful. Giving up prospects (even mediocre ones) for a back-up catcher should be a fireable offense...

I think some are confusing him with Ryan Berry. At least that is the only explanation I can come up with for all the outrage.
